Wonderfully fragrant Australian native tree makes an excellent scented house or container plant. The heavily aromatic leaves of this herb have been used in Aboriginal folk medicine as a powerful antiseptic. DO NOT take it internally, as it is somewhat toxic. But it is used by the insect repellent industry for making natural bug repellent. We enjoy growing this herb tree as an outdoor annual or potted and brought indoors over winter. Hardy from USDA zones 8-10. Sword-shaped silver leaves make a top notch foliage for arrangements! Easy to start from seeds and extra drought tolerant.
